Honeycomb Panels

Honeycomb panels are lightweight, yet they are stiff and sturdy.  Honeycomb panels are used as a replacement for plywood and other kinds of boards because it is cheaper and more efficient in some applications.  Honeycomb panels can also be used in conjunction with wood, plastic, fiberboard, and other materials as laminates.

Some of the applications of honeycomb panels include dry walls, office partitions, sliding doors, flush door filler, ceiling panel, etc.

Honeycomb Core

Honeycomb core is mainly used as a void filler and cushioning material.  Its properties allow it to occupy a large space using the least material possible, while providing rigidity and a solid feel to the product.  Honeycomb core is most commonly found on flush doors and furniture.
